Trends, briefed this week and posted before they are over

hypjam tracks what is moving on the apps this week, briefs creators to bend it round your product, directs the shoot on their phones and cuts it native for each feed. Your team keeps the account.

A trend is a sound and a shape. It is bent round the product, not bolted on.

On hypjam the content looks like it belongs on the feed because it was made the way the feed makes things: on a phone, fast, with a point of view. Four services make that happen.

The services behind it

The services behind organic.

Each one is a service on its own. Together they cover spotting the trend, writing it round your product, shooting it and cutting it before the moment passes.

The hook is written from what is moving this week, not last quarter.

A trend report is out of date by the time it is a PDF. hypjam watches the apps and writes the brief from what is actually moving: a sound, a format, a shape of joke. Then it is written round your product so it is yours, not a logo on someone else's meme.

Bent round the product

The trend supplies the shape; the product supplies the point. The hook is written so that the product is why the video exists, not an afterthought in the last second.

Written fast, still scripted

A trend brief is shorter than a launch brief, but it still has a hook, a payoff and a note on delivery. Fast is not the same as vague.

A no is allowed

Some trends are wrong for the brand. When they are, we say so and brief something else.

Cast the creator whose feed the trend already lives on.

Trend content works when the person doing it would have done it anyway. Casting is for the creator whose own account already speaks that way, whether that is deadpan, chaotic or dead serious. You approve the shortlist, as always.

Cast for the point of view

The roster is organised by niche and by voice. A trend brief is cast for the voice first, because a trend performed straight is just an ad.

Remote and quick

Most of the roster is remote and shoots from home. A trend brief can be with the right creator the same day it is written.

Paid by us, once

Creators are paid out of your package fee on a set schedule. One contract, one invoice.

Directed over a call, filmed on the creator's own phone.

A director on the call, the creator at home with the script and the sound. Takes are run, notes are given, the hook is tried three ways. It looks handheld and natural because it is; it lands because someone was directing.

Takes, not a single attempt

Each hook gets several takes with direction between them: timing, the look to the lens, where the product comes in. The creator's delivery, our notes.

Phone, natural light, captions on

No lighting rig, no hire budget. Vertical, handheld energy, captions burned in and kept out of the platform's own overlays.

Raw footage to our editors

The creator sends the takes; the edit is ours. Nobody is learning an editing app on a deadline.

Cut native for each feed, sound and timing included.

A trend has a rhythm. The editor cuts to it: where the beat drops, where the caption lands, how long before the product appears. Then each feed gets its own version, because TikTok and Reels do not watch the same way.

Five formats per shoot

A single shoot is cut into up to five formats: the trend cut, a stitched version, a shorter Shorts cut, a testimonial-shaped edit, a paid-ready version with a clearer product beat.

Native, not resized

Every cut is 9:16 for the platform it is going to, hook in the first frame, caption in the safe area.

One revision round, included

Included on every package. Usually spent on timing, because timing is the whole point of a trend.

Built for the problems an organic account actually has.

Not a content calendar of stock. hypjam is built around the trend that is over by the time legal has seen it, the post that looks like an ad, and the account that has nothing to say between launches.

The trend is over by Thursday

A brief that takes a fortnight to approve misses the moment. Trend briefs are short, scripted and can shoot the same day.

It looks like an ad

Polish reads as advertising. Phone, natural light and a creator with a point of view read as the feed.

Nothing to say between launches

An account that only posts when there is news goes quiet. Weekly trend briefs keep it talking in the brand's voice.

Your logo on someone else's meme

Bolting a product onto a format is the fastest way to look desperate. The hook is written so the product is the reason the video exists.

How it runs

From a sound on Monday to a post before the weekend.

  1. 01

    The trend is spotted

What is moving this week, on the apps, not in a report. The ones that fit the brand go into a short brief.

  2. 02

    Written round the product

A hook, a payoff and a note on delivery, with the product as the reason the video exists.

  3. 03

    Cast and directed

The creator whose feed already sounds like this, directed over a call, filming on their phone.

  4. 04

    Cut to the beat

Native per feed, sound and captions timed, delivered with the rights and a note on where to post first.

Under the hood

Weekly, on a phone, with the rights sorted anyway.

The details a social lead asks about before handing over the organic calendar.

Formats

Five per shoot

Trend cut, stitch, Shorts cut, testimonial shape and a paid-ready version, from one shoot when the brief calls for them.

Frame

9:16

Native vertical, hook in the first frame, captions burned in and kept out of the top 15% and bottom 20%.

Turnaround

14 days

The standard sprint. Trend briefs can run faster; we tell you honestly when one cannot.

Rights

Organic and paid

Even organic-only posts are licensed in writing, so a post that takes off can be put behind spend without a scramble.

Sounds

Checked

Commercial sound libraries and licensing rules differ per platform and per account type; the brief says which sound is usable for a brand account.

Disclosure

ASA and CAP

Where a post is paid-for, it is labelled as the platform and the CAP Code require. Organic is organic.

Rights and safety
“We started hypjam because brands kept hiring creators one by one and nobody was directing the work. We treat UGC like a production: one brief, one team, a script before anyone films, an edit built for the feed.”

FAQ

Questions social leads ask first.

Do you post for us, or just make the content?

We make it and tell you where to post it first. Posting stays on your account, with your team; the videos arrive cut per platform and captioned.

How quickly can a trend brief turn around?

Faster than the fourteen-day sprint when it has to. Trend briefs are short and most of the roster shoots from home, so the same week is realistic. If a brief needs longer, we say so.

Can organic content be used in ads later?

Yes. Usage rights for organic and paid are included for the term of your package, so a post that takes off can go behind spend without going back to the creator.

What about trending sounds and licensing?

The brief says which sound is usable for a brand account on each platform. Where a sound is not cleared for commercial use, we brief an alternative rather than risk the post.

Will it look like our brand?

It will sound like your brand in a creator's voice. The hook is written round the product, the creator is cast for the point of view, and the direction keeps both.
