SolutionsFounder-led

You on camera, directed like any creator

hypjam writes the hooks for you, runs the takes, and cuts the founder who built the thing into ads that sound like one. Same process as the creator roster: hooks, retakes and all. Your team keeps the company.

Sometimes the best spokesperson is the person who built the thing. They still need directing.

A founder on hypjam gets the same treatment as the roster: hooks written for them, a script they can loosen, takes with notes in between, and an edit built for the feed. Four services make that happen.

8 hooks

Written for you before you step in front of the phone

1 round

Of revisions per video, included in every package

30 minutes

The services behind it

The services behind founder-led.

Each one is a service on its own. Together they cover what is written before the shoot, what happens in the takes, and what the edit does with them.

Directed, not coached. The same process as the roster.

A founder on camera fails for one reason: nobody is directing. hypjam runs founders through exactly what a creator gets: a brief, hooks, a script, references, takes with notes, and an editor who chooses the good ones. You do not have to be a natural. You have to turn up.

The brief says why you

Origin story, a strong opinion, a product detail only the maker knows: the brief picks the reason a founder is the right voice, and the hooks follow from it.

Retakes are normal

Nobody gets it on take one. The director runs the line several ways and moves on when it lands; the edit does the rest.

You never sound like a deck

The script is written from how you talk on a call, not from the website. If a line sounds like marketing, it is cut before you say it.

Eight hooks, in your voice, from things you actually say.

The intro call is recorded with your permission, because founders say the best hook in passing: why the lid took two years, what the first customer complained about, the thing you would never put on the website. The eight hooks are written from that.

Mined from the call

The hook is usually already in how you describe the product to a friend. The writer's job is to hear it and cut it to one line.

A script you can loosen

Each hook has a one-line script and a payoff. You deliver it in your own words and timing; the script is there so you never dry.

Kept for the next round

Hooks that did not make the shoot stay in the brief. The next round starts from what is already written.

Takes over a call, or a London shoot with the director in the room.

The default founder shoot is a video call: you at your desk or in the warehouse, a phone on a stand, the director on the call. When the product needs a set, a London shoot with the director in the room can be arranged. Either way, someone is directing.

Your place, your phone

The office, the kitchen, the van. Real places read as real. The director sets the frame, the light and the eye-line, then runs the takes.

A London shoot when it helps

A product that needs a clean counter, a pour or a close-up gets a London shoot with the director in the room, arranged where the brief needs it.

Raw footage to our editors

You send the takes, or we bring them home. Nobody is learning an editing app on a deadline.

The edit makes you sound like you on a good day.

The editor's job is to choose the take where the line landed, tighten the pauses, put the product on screen at the right beat and burn the captions in. Expect to sound better than you think you do. That is the edit doing its job.

Best take, every line

Each line is cut from its best take, so a shoot with ten stumbles becomes a video with none.

Native, not resized

Every cut is 9:16 for the placement it is going to, hook in the first frame, captions in the safe area.

One revision round, included

Included on every package. Usually spent on pacing, occasionally on a line you would rather not have said.

Built for the problems a founder on camera actually has.

Not a media-training course. hypjam is built around the founder who freezes, the founder who reads, and the founder who has forty minutes on a Tuesday and nothing else.

You freeze

A script you can loosen and a director running takes means there is always a next attempt, and the edit only keeps the good ones.

You read

Autocue makes founders sound like the website. The hooks are written from how you talk, and you say them to the lens, not the notes.

Forty minutes on a Tuesday

A call-based shoot with eight hooks pre-written gets a round of takes in one call. The rest is ours.

It sounds like a deck

If a line sounds like marketing it is cut before you say it. What is left is a person who built the thing, saying why.

How it runs

From the intro call to a founder who sounds like one.

  1. 01

    The intro call

Thirty minutes. What you built, why, what people ask you. Recorded with your permission, because the hooks are in it.

  2. 02

    Hooks in your voice

Eight hooks written from the call, each with a one-line script you can loosen. You pick with us which go to the shoot.

  3. 03

    Takes, directed

Over a call at your place, or a London shoot with the director in the room. Several takes per line, notes between them.

  4. 04

    Cut and cleared

Best take per line, captions burned in, cut per placement, delivered with the rights and a note on where to run it.

Under the hood

Written from you, shot with you, cut for the feed.

The details a founder asks about before agreeing to be on camera.

Prep

8 hooks

Written from the intro call before any shoot is booked. You see them, pick with us, and can veto any line.

Time on camera

One call

A round of takes over a call, with notes between them. A London shoot with the director in the room covers more formats.

Where

Your place or London

Over a video call wherever you are, or a London shoot with the director in the room when the product needs a set.

Revisions

One round per video

Included in every package. A line you regret comes out in the round.

Rights

Yours

You are the talent, so usage is yours by default. If a roster creator appears alongside you, their licence is in writing before the shoot.

Placements

Six

TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Pinterest and Meta ads, cut for where each is going.

Rights and safety
“We started hypjam because brands kept hiring creators one by one and nobody was directing the work. We treat UGC like a production: one brief, one team, a script before anyone films, an edit built for the feed.”

FAQ

Questions founders ask before they agree to be on camera.

I am not a natural on camera. Does this still work?

Yes. That is what direction is for. The hooks are written from how you already talk, takes are run until a line lands, and the edit keeps only the good ones.

Do I have to come to London?

No. The default is a video call with your phone on a stand. A London shoot with the director in the room can be arranged when the product needs a set.

Can I veto lines?

Every hook is yours to approve before the shoot, and the revision round is there for anything you would rather not have said.

How long do I need to give it?

A thirty-minute intro call, then one round of takes on a call, inside the fourteen-day sprint. The writing and the edit are ours.

Can a founder video run as a paid ad?

Yes. You are the talent, so usage is yours by default, and each cut is delivered per placement with captions burned in.

Tell us why you built it.

Book a thirty-minute call. That conversation is where the hooks come from; by the end of it you will know whether you want to be on camera.
