Creators cast for fit, from a roster we brief ourselves
Nobody is hired for their following here. Brands are paying for the footage, not the audience, so the person on camera should look and sound like your customer. hypjam casts from its own roster of everyday creators, against the brief, and you approve the shortlist before anyone presses record.

From a signed brief to your first cuts, casting included
Cast against the brief, not a follower count.
The brief describes who the ad is for. Casting starts there: age, setting, tone, the niche the product lives in, the way they talk. A parent talking about a supplement lands differently from a student talking about the same product, and the brief says which one you need.
A creator profile in every brief
Who they are, where they film, how they speak. Written before we open the roster.
Fit over polish
Someone who looks like your customer is more believable than someone who looks like a presenter. We cast for the first, every time.
Following is not a criterion
Most of what a creator shoots for you never touches their own account. We do not look at their numbers.
A roster we brief, direct and pay.
hypjam's creators are not a marketplace. They applied, sent work, and shoot to our briefs with our direction. We know who takes notes well, who is reliable on a deadline and who can hold a phone and a thought at the same time.
Applied and reviewed
Every creator on the roster sent links and was reviewed by a person. Reliability is noted after each brief.
Mostly remote, based in the UK
The roster is largely UK-based and films at home. Most briefs need a phone, decent light and a bit of space.
Paid by us, on a schedule
Creators are paid directly out of your package fee once a video is approved. You never negotiate with a creator.
A shortlist you approve before anyone shoots.
You see two to five creators per brief with a short reel, the tags that made them a fit and a note on how they take direction. Nobody films until you have said yes.
Two to five per brief
Enough to choose, not so many that choosing is work. The number scales with how many videos the brief needs.
A sample, not a media kit
Two or three clips of them on camera, chosen for the brief, rather than a follower graph.
Swap before, not after
If a creator is not right, say so at the shortlist. Swapping before the shoot costs nothing.
Releases signed before the first take.
Every creator signs a release before filming that names the platforms, the scope of use and the number of days, mirroring the terms on your brief. The paperwork is done when the footage arrives, not chased afterwards.
Scope, platforms, duration
Organic or paid, TikTok through Meta ads by name, and a number of days. The same lines that sit on your brief.
Whitelisting written in
If the brief includes Spark Ads or partnership ads, the release says who generates the code and by when.
Rate agreed before they film
Creators know the rate and what it covers before the shoot. Nothing is renegotiated after a good take.
Matched to the product, not just the niche.
The product goes to the creator before the shoot, with the brief. A skincare creator who has not used the serum for a week is reading. One who has is telling you something.
Product in hand, confirmed
Shipping is tracked on the brief. Nobody films from a picture of the product.
Time with it before the shoot
Where the product needs use to talk about honestly, the shoot date is set after that time, not before.
Honest lines only
A creator who does not like something says so to us, and the script changes rather than the creator pretending.
Repeated when it works.
If a creator's delivery works for your brand, the next brief goes to them first. Casting is a relationship, not a search, and a roster that knows your product gets better each round.
Your creators, on file
Who you approved, who delivered on time and whose hooks held attention are recorded against your brand.
First call on the next brief
Winning creators are booked for the next round before we widen the search.
A dedicated roster at scale
Always-on packages get a named group of creators who shoot for you regularly.
Built for the problems casting actually has.
Not a search engine for creators. hypjam's casting is built around what goes wrong when brands hire one by one: the wrong face for the customer, five invoices, a release nobody signed and a creator who never turned up.
The creator does not look like the customer
A presenter selling a product to people who are nothing like them. The brief carries a creator profile and casting starts from it.
Five creators, five negotiations
Rates, rights and revisions argued five times over. We cast, brief, direct and pay every creator on one contract and one invoice.
A release nobody signed
Footage you cannot legally run as an ad. Every creator signs a release naming platforms, scope and days before the first take.
The shoot day nobody turned up to
Reliability is the thing a follower count cannot tell you. Ours is noted after every brief, and repeat creators get the next one.
How it works
From a brief to an approved creator in one shortlist.
- 01
The brief sets the profile
Age, setting, tone and niche, written into the agreed brief before the roster is opened.
- 02
We shortlist
Two to five creators with sample clips, the tags that made them a fit and a note on how they take direction.
- 03
You approve
Say yes, or swap, before anyone films. Swapping at this stage costs nothing.
- 04
Releases and product go out
The creator signs the release, receives the product, and the shoot date is set on the tracker.
Under the hood
Built for a phone shoot, not adapted to it.
The roster is built for how UGC is actually made: one person, at home, on a phone, to a brief, with the paperwork done first.
Roster
Applied, reviewed
Every creator applied with links and was reviewed by a person. No follower minimum; reliability noted after each brief.
Fit
From the brief
A creator profile on every brief. Casting matches age, setting, tone and niche to it, not a follower graph.
Approval
Yours, first
A shortlist of two to five with sample clips. Nobody films until you have approved them; swaps are free at this stage.
Paperwork
Release before take 1
Scope, named platforms and days, mirroring your brief. Whitelisting authorisation is dated in the same document.
Payment
One invoice
Creators are paid by us out of your package fee once a video is approved. You never negotiate with a creator.
Data
UK GDPR handling
Creator and brand details are held under our privacy policy. We do not sell, share or scrape data.
Rights“We started hypjam because brands kept hiring creators one by one and nobody was directing the work. We treat UGC like a production: one brief, one team, a script before anyone films, an edit built for the feed.”

FAQ
Questions brands ask about casting.
Do we get to choose the creator?
Yes. You see a shortlist of two to five creators per brief with sample clips and approve or swap before anyone films.
Do your creators have big followings?
Some do, most do not, and it is not a criterion. You are paying for the footage and the delivery, not the audience. If you want reach from a creator's own account, that is influencer work and we will say so.
Where are the creators based?
The roster is largely UK-based and mostly remote. Creators film at home on their own phones; London shoots with direction in the room can be arranged where the brief needs it.
Who pays the creators?
We do, out of your package fee, once a video is approved. One contract and one invoice on your side.
Can we use the same creator again?
Yes, and we recommend it. Creators who worked for your brand are booked first on the next brief, and always-on packages get a dedicated roster.
What do creators sign?
A release before filming that names the scope of use, the platforms and the number of days, plus any whitelisting authorisation and its date. It mirrors the terms on your brief.
